First Steps
Hi, I'm Chrizta from Serenity-Skies.net and this left me curious after k_dash's previous post.

In your very, very early days of web designing, who or what inspired you to create/design the sites and layouts you had back then? Where did you learn your web designing tactics from? :)

For me, I was a really big fan of Vanilla-Dreams.net who offers wonderful photoshop brushes and she had these awesome layouts that were just wow!, every time she revamps her sites. As for learning how to web design and using HTML, I was pretty much self-taught and I'd learn a few things here and there from various websites.

So how about you?

I learned HTML from my two friends westbroke and d_oomsday. They seriously taught me like, everything I know right now, in terms of coding. As for Photoshop and whatnot, I learned it myself. I never looked at tutorials before, I just ... play around on Photoshop (yeah ... I kind of need a life).

As for inspirations, Lenne.nu and Peach-Arrow.net were both big inspirations for me for a while (at different times though). Right now, I don't have any particular "idols" if you can call it that, though I do love enjoying my friends' domains a lot because ... I don't know, it feels different viewing the content when you know the person personally?
